The University of St Andrews has established itself as a leader in battery research with the inauguration of the Colin Vincent Centre for Battery Technology at Eden Campus. This state-of-the-art facility is pivotal in advancing the development of sustainable energy solutions, particularly in battery chemistries.

Munters designed, installed and commissioned a turnkey battery dry room that includes HVAC plant installation, commissioning, and maintenance. The dry room operates at dewpoints between -40°C and -50°C, and includes our Munters DSS 1300 desiccant dehumidification system that has been fully equipped with Munters Green PowerPurge heat recovery system, which reduces the reactivation heater power by approximately 30%.
